Art. 61(3): the permit is valid for the duration of the traineeship agreement where that duration is under six months or six months at most. Where the study programme provides for an agreement longer than six months, the permit's validity matches that longer duration. Six months is therefore the ceiling in the ordinary case, which is what bound 'maximum' records; the study-programme exception cannot be held in the same field and is stated here.
